A mentally retarded woman who just gave birth to a baby girl has received help from the local government

The woman’s daughter has been taken to an orphanage

She was also transferred to psychiatric hospital

A local government in Ondo state has provided help to a mentally sick woman who just gave birth to a baby girl in Yaba area of the state.

NAIJ.com gathered that the authorities at Idanre local government rescued the woman after she gave birth to a baby girl.

According to Facebook user, Jimoh Ibrahim, under the leadership of Honourable Adebiyi Ayannuola, the newborn baby girl was taken to a motherless babies home.

Ibrahim further added that the mother of the newborn was also taken to a psychiatric hospital for adequate and proper treatment.
