Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko part 2 given green light



Anthony Joshua have been given the green light to skip mandatory challenger Luis Ortiz

The World Heavyweight champion will now look to fight former champion Wladimir Klitschko

The Klitschko camp have told Joshua's camp that they are ready to negotiate a rematch

IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev has rejected the request for a match to happen at a later date

Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has announced that Anthony Joshua's next match will likely come against Wladimir Klitschko.

NAIJ.com recalls that the Ukranian was defeated last month in front of 90,000 fight fans at Wembley, where Joshua retained the IBF title and won the vacant WBA and IBO titles.

Wladimir Klitschko's camp have already told Joshua that they are ready for a rematch after the world heavyweight champion was allowed by the WBA to skip mandatory challenger Luis Ortiz.

Hearn is now hoping the IBF will allow Joshua skip mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev for a later date so he could fight Klitschko for the three titles.

Speaking to iFL TV, Hearn said Joshua is more intent on taking on fellow youngsters as he builds a huge career.

On the venue and date of the fight, Hearn said: “We’re looking into the numbers, where it’s going to take place, the date it’s going to take place, and that’s all going to be discussed over the next few weeks.”

If the rematch with the Ukranian doesn't happen, then Joshua will be fighting IBF mandatory challenger Pulev.

Hearn said the Klitschko fight will "more than likely" happen, but "if not, then it's Pulev."
