A man from Liberia, who is only 31 years old, has become the youngest pilot Captain at Delta, one of the world’s largest airlines.
Gamaliel Marcus Neyor went on to get a degree in Aviation Management, with a minor in Business, from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the U.S.
He credits this fact to be part of the reason to his precocious success in his piloting career. His father, Christopher Neyor, was former president of National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL).
Neyor graduated сum laude in 2007. “I chose aviation management because it allowed me to mix my first passion, aviation, with something else I was interested in, business,” he said.
Neyor has said he wants to give back to his country. “I will return to Liberia and contribute to the development agenda,” he insisted.
Nevertheless, this girl beat him with the age limit, becoming captain at a mere 26 years old!:
