Can’t leave, won’t leave! Giant python slithers into family’s toilet bowl, totally refuses to leave

- A 2 meter python entered family’s toilet and refused to move

- They called snake catcher but she couldn’t remove it from toilet bowl

- The snake catcher had to return the next day to try again

A two-meter python weighing 10 kilos slithered into a family’s toilet bowl and completely refused to move despite efforts by a professional snake catcher.

The seemingly cheeky carpet python was reportedly found coiling itself into a comfortable position in the toilet bowl of a Charters Towers home.

“We believe it entered through a vent at the top of the toilet. There is a vent there that had not been covered in mesh,” the family told a local news outlet.

Soon after the chilling discovery they called Leanne Colthup, a professional snake catcher, who reportedly tried to pull out the comfortably sleeping reptile but failed three times.

Colthup then tried to seek for help from her senior colleagues via Social Media but they didn’t respond. However, she received several suggestions from Facebook users, all of which also failed.

Exhausted and frustrated, the snake catcher left and returned the next day. This time she went for the python’s head. She yanked it by the head and eventually pulled it out with a lot of force.

The sneaky reptile was then released back into the wilderness as required by the law of the land.
