A parent in Canada is battling a law that says an infant's sexual orientation must be expressed on their introduction to the world authentication with a specific end goal to keep their infant "gender less"

Kori Doty, who does not distinguish as male or female, needs their eight-month-old child Searyl Atli to have the capacity to pick her sexual orientation.

However, Canadian law expresses the infant won't be given a birth certificate without determining its gender

A Canadian infant has been issued a health card without a sexual orientation marker in what could be the first such case on the planet.

The newborn child was issued with a "U" on its card in the spot assigned for the "sex" of the infant which as indicated by the BBC, could remain for "undetermined" or "unassigned."

Interestingly, the infant's mother identified as Kori Doty is pushing to ensure that her child's birth certificate remains gender-less.
