Ondo state first lady sweeps local market to create awareness for breast cancer

First lady of Ondo state was spotted cleaning a market with a group of women

The act was done to raised awareness for breast cancer among women in the state

The first lady of Ondo state, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu and a group of women from a non-governmental organisation were spotted raising awareness for breast cancer.

Mrs Akeredolu along with other women were seen sweeping Oja-Oba market, a local market in Akure.

Akeredolu who happens to be a breast cancer survivor is known to use her office to regularly create awareness for breast cancer in the state.

While lecturing the women present, she said breast cancer can be treated if spotted in the early stages.
