Jose Mourinho bans Man Utd players from social media activity


Jose Mourinho has banned Manchester United players from social media activities

The coach has been angered by United playes posting photos or videos when recovering from injuries

Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Chris Smalling are greatly affected by the new ban

Manchester United players have been banned from sharing pictures and photos of themselves when recovering from injuries.

According to Goal.com, the Portuguese imposed the ban to "limit the extent of information leaking out of the first-team squad."

Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard have been criticized for performing a dance routine in the dressing room at the club’s Carrington training site and sharing it on Instagram.

We understand that Mourinho's is particularly angry that many of his players to turn to social media, particularly when recovering from high-profile injuries.

Luke Shaw was greatly criticized by his coach earlier in the season after posting a photograph of him training away from the club as he looked to make a comeback from a leg injury.

Chris Smalling recently shared a video of himself running under reduced weight in a hydrotherapy pool and that caused to Portuguese to say enough was enough

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss has now ordered his players to stop posting training or recovery sessions.


In addition to that, he has restricted their use of any social media service in the 48 hours leading up to matches.

The three time Premier League winner has become known for reacting angrily to any player not taking to their recovery from injury in the way that he would like.
