In another news story, Dr Ogunfolakan Adisa alongside other archaeologists have called on the federal government to resuscitate museums by proper and regular funding to make them attraction centres for indigenous and foreign tourists.
NAIJ.com report that this call was made during the international museum day which took place at the Museum of National Unity on Tuesday, May 23.
Also present was Senator Iyiola Omisore who delivered the keynote address and emphasized the need of the government to rebrand and promote the museums in order to raise awareness and interest especially among the youths.
Dr Adisa of the Natural Museums at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife said there was need to keep the musems alive as they played roles in national development.
