Aubameyang hands in transfer request to force Man City move



Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has tried to force through a move to Manchester City

Reports claim the Gabon striker has handed a transfer request to Borussia Dortmund

The 27-year-old is unhappy his side were unable to challenge Bayern for the league

In a bid to force a move away from Borussia Dortmund, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly handed in a transfer request.

The report comes just as NAIJ.com gathered that Manchester City were lining up an offer for the striker.

The 27-year-old marksman the top goalscorer in the Bundesliga with 31 goals as Dortmund finished in third place.

German news outlet Bild, the main reseason the Gabonese international handed a transfer request was because of his side's inability to dethrone Bayern Munich.

City face competition for the striker's signature from PSG, Manchester United and most recently Chelsea.


Aubameyang is seeking a move away from Dortmund
In four seasons at Dortmund, Aubameyang has scored a whooping 119 goals and 39 this campaign in all competitions.

The Sun reports that £40million is the fee that Dortmund have put on Aubameyang's head.
