Pastor releases doves at funeral only for them to be smashed by truck

White doves smashed by truck in a bizarre accident as mourners look in utter disbelief

The doves were released by a pastor as he explained their significance to Christianity

A disturbing video of a truck smashing white doves during a funeral service has emerged

The pastor set free three white doves from a basket as he addressee a congregation outdoors in a park next to a busy highway.

The pastor begins by explaining to the mourners the spiritual significance of the birds to Christianity. He says the three doves represent Holy Trinity.

The man of the cloth then releases the doves into the air as his female assistant holds one of the doves and shows it to a young boy in a suit as the mourners look on.

Then the tragedy strikes. The birds released into the air moments ago are hit by an oncoming truck on the nearby highway.

The horrified mourners can be seen gasping in disbelief while the man who released the doves from the basket tells them not to worry.
