The Costa Rica international spent last term out on loan, with Portuguese Primeira Liga side Sporting Lisbon, and has continued to be farmed out after rejoining Betis, the club he spent the 2012/13 season with.
The Gunners have confirmed the 25-year-old’s loan move, which is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
Campbell has managed 40 appearances for Arsenal since being signed in 2011 but has spent the majority of his time at other clubs, including loan stays with Lorient, Olympiacos and Villarreal.
In total, Campbell has been loaned out six times in the six years since moving to north London.
