Football fans react following Carl Ikeme's acute leukemia diagnosis


Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme was diagnosed of acute leukaemia by his club Wolverhampton Wanderers

The tragic news was disclosed to the 31-year-old immediately he returned to the club for pre-season training

Football fans all over the world have sent their well wishes to Ikeme and his family as they wish the Nigerian international a speedy recovery

Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme on Thursday, July 6, 2017 was diagnosed of acute leukaemia by his club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The tragic news was disclosed to the 31-year-old shortly after a blood test as he returned to the club for pre-season training.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers shot-stopper is set to begin an immediate course of chemotherapy for his unfortunate illness.
