Why Juventus will defeat Real Madrid in the Champions League final

Juventus and Real Madrid contest the 62nd European Cup final which will be played in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday night, June 3. The Spanish side are clear favourites, but Max Allegri's side look destined to win.

Arguably, Madrid currently have the best squad in the world and that shows how fringe players easily replace their first team without much fuss.

Juventus, reaching a second final in three years, have already won the Copa Italia and Serie A title this season and have their eyes on the coveted UCL prize.

Although, the La Liga champions Madrid might be clear favourites, the following are reasons Juventus will win the title.

1. A stable defense

Dani Carvajal is missing for Real Madrid and anytime he does not play, Madrid always seem to be in trouble when they are being attacked. Danilo is a good replacement, but needs to better his positioning and awareness.

Bonucci is regarded as the best center-back in the world
Juventus meanwhile have the best defense in the world with Chiellini, Bonucci, Dani Alves and Alex Sandro as the first choice back-four.

2. Underdog status

Think Dortmund 2011 and 2012, Leicester City 2015, Chelsea 2012...what these teams have in common is winning huge titles when they have been written-off.

The same can be said about Juventus who come into the final as underdogs, but with experienced campaigners all over their squad, a shock result should be in place.

3. A tactical master piece by Allegri

No one ever knows how Allegri sets out his team. Patrice Evra once said the Italian was the best at changing the menu of a game without the other team being able to adapt.

Juve have played at least five different formations this season depending on the players available; 3-5-2, 3-4-1-2, 4-3-1-2, 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1.

Zidane should expect a surprise from Allegri
Allegri is one of the most adaptable managers and with his experience, he should be able to out think Real Madrid.

4. Absense of Bale

Gareth Bale's absense has been managed well by Zidane this season, but anytime he does not play Real Madrid are weaker.

Isco should replace the Welsh, but he possesses different skill sets from Bale.

Bale is unfit for the final and will not start
Alex Sandro will have a filled day on the left with Danilo set to start, and Isco most likely drifting in-field regularly from that position.
