Head-To-Head: History favours Nigeria ahead of South Africa clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to battle South Africa in the opening game of the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on June 10, 2017.

NAIJ.com can authoritatively report that both teams are not new to each other as they have previously met at the senior level 12 times.

History favours the Eagles ahead of the mouthwatering clash as they have won seven of those encounters, drawing 4, and losing 1 to Bafana Bafana.
