Residents of Maiduguri have panicked over multiple bomb explosion which rocked the city

There is confusion in Maiduguri, Borno state capital as multiple explosion rocked the state on Tuesday, June 13.
The blast which caused panic in the state has however been traced to the military who according to sources conducted a controlled testing of military equipment.

The Boko Haram insurgents have turned the state into a war front as a result of their frequent attack on residents and other institutions.
Recently, NAIJ.com reported that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau released a new video celebrating the terrorist attack in Maiduguri and vowed that the attacks will continue until his conditions are met.
NAIJ.com had reported that there were coordinated attacks in the capital city of Borno although the army claimed it was repelled and that three terrorists were killed.
The leader of the terrorist group in a new video however denied that his men were killed insisting that he was victorious.
In the 23 minutes video, Shekau who spoke in Hausa said western education and the democratic system of government were sinful and as long as they were still in use, the attacks will continue.
