A man has been arrested by security operatives in Sapele for duping people
The man had duped quite a number of people by collecting money from them in hope of getting them jobs in oil companies
A Nigerian man identified as Tony Tuoyo has been arrested by vigilante operatives in Sapele after they got the report of his criminal deeds.
Reports gathered that the man pictured in this post had been fraudulent as he takes money from unsuspecting people with the false claim of getting them jobs in oil companies.
According to the post made by Sapele Oghenek, the suspect collects the sum of N45,000 from each of the job applicants. Unfortunately for him, he had a deal with the younger brother of one Barry White, the owner of a hotel on Ugberikoko road.
Tony Tuoyo, the fraudster arrested for duping people.
Tuoyo had gone back to collect the balance of N10,000 from him when security operatives were notified of the incident. He was picked up by members of the vigilante group afterwards.
It is important for people to pay close attention to the things they do while hunting for jobs. Landing a job in an oil company is no doubt a big deal as workers in such companies live a good life and are able to cope with the pressure of the society. However, no oil firm would ask applicants to pay before they employ them.
On this note, it is hoped that Nigerians would be more street wise and would learn how to identify the fraudsters in the society.
