Manchester United and Liverpool in tug of war for Cesc Fabregas


Manchester United are in serious battle with Liverpool for Cesc Fabregas's signature

The 29-year-old has been a target for Jose Mourinho and now Jurgen Klopp

He is now the second EPL all-time assist player, trailing Man Utd legend Ryan Giggs

Manchester United are battling bitter rivals Liverpool over Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas for a fee of £25million.

The Spanish midfielder has been a target for Jose Mourinho and now Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has indicated interest in the World Cup-winning midfielder.

The 29-year-old has previously be managed by the Portuguese in his Chelsea days and it is no news that he is a long-time admirer of the Spaniard.

In the same light, Klopp is looking to add up to his midfield as he is uncertain about Philippe Coutinho's future next season

Fabregas signed for the Blues in 2014 from Barcelona and played a key role in Chelsea winning the Premier League title that season. He assisted 18 league goals that season.

He recently overtook Frank Lampard and now the second EPL all-time assist player, trailing Man Utd legend Ryan Giggs
