The 25-year-old has obviously struggled in the last year as he is yet to replicate the sparkling form

Barcelona star Neymar has been told by his father to join English Premier League giants Manchester United ahead of the coming season.

The father of the 25-year-old Brazilian star stated categorically that he wants his son to move to England because he is always in the shadow of superstar forward Lionel Messi.

Could Neymar be on his way to Manchester United?
Recall that Neymar moved to Barcelona in 2013, he has enjoyed quite a number of silverwares winning two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey twice, the Club World Cup and the Champions League.

However, he has obviously struggled in the last year as he is yet to replicate the sparkling form he has in his first two amazing seasons.

The player has managed just 19 goals this season and likely to miss out on any trophy this season as Barca are unlikely to win the La Liga, recall that they also crashed out of the UEFA Champions League.

The Catalan giants have had a poor season, but they will play in the Copa del Rey final against Alaves on May 27.

According to Diario Gol, Neymar Santos Sr believes his son should move to Old Trafford.
