Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic has reportedly agreed a £100,000-a-week deal to sign for Jose Mourinho's new look Manchester United side next season.

Perisic is expected to be the first of many signing for the Old Trafford club this summer with the likes of Antoine Griezmann being targeted.

According to the Sun (UK), the Red Devils pipped champions Chelsea the Croatian who can play as a winger, attacking midfielder or supporting striker.

Jose Mourinho's side will have to pay in the excess of £40million to land the Croatia forward.

In March, Mourinho had flown to Zagreb to see Perisic play for his country and to oversee the deal.

United’s boss hurried the Old Trafford negotiators to complete the deal just after Wednesday’s Europa League triumph which gave them a Champions League spot.

Like Chelsea, PSG were also keen on Perisic with the French giants reportedly willing to do a swap deal involving former United player Angel Di Maria.

But Perisic’s heart was set on United, with his head turned by the wages his new agents said they could negotiate for him at the Theatre of Dreams.
