Tuesday, May 30, officially made it 50 years ever since Biafra gained its Independence and in celebrating the golden jubilee, a newborn baby was welcomed.
A man identified as Oyinemi Nicholas Endeley took to his Facebook profile to post the picture of a cute baby boy holding the Biafra flag with the caption:
“SOLDIER GO SOLDIER COME BARRACK REMAIN..... Biafran babies died 50 years ago but today a Biafran baby was born and handed the Biafran flag as his people remembered the slain ones................ Hope they say is for those who have life...... Welcome cuttie. WE CAN FORGIVE BUT WE CAN'T FORGET................ #Still on Jesus is Lord

According to Wikipedia, Biafra officially the Republic of Biafra was a secessionist state in Nigeria, that existed from May 30, 1967 to January 1970, comprising the former Eastern Region of the country. It was roughly bounded by the lower part of the Niger River on the west and Cameroon on the east.
However, after two-and-a-half years of war during which over three million Biafran civilians died from starvation caused by the total blockade of the region by the Nigerian government, Biafran forces surrendered to the Nigerian Federal Military Government (FMG) and Biafra was reintegrated into Nigeria.
