British boxer and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has said an emotional goodbye to his mother ahead of his superfight with Wladmir Klitschko in the early hours of Saturday, April 29.
The 27-year-old who has never allowed his mother to watch him in the ring since the London 2012 Olympics has told her not come for the fight because he is worried she would distract him in the ring.
However the proud mother Yeta Odusanya who is a Nigerian will be miles away in north on the strict orders of her unbeaten IBF heavyweight champion son.

But his father Robert will definitely be at Wembly, venue of the showdown, to notify the boxer’s mother when the fight is over.
"See you on Sunday mum x," Joshua posted a picture of him and his mother on Twitter.
"My old man will be there again, but I don’t really let my mum come to my fights," said Joshua.
"I've banned her. It’s not a place where you want to see your kid, I don’t think, at a fight. My dad can watch it, but not my mum.
"She is confident enough in me to watch, but I would rather she not be there. One of my cousins will call her after the fight. She enjoys it all, though, and she gets a few freebies."
The IBF heavyweight world title will be on the line when Joshua and Ukranian boxer Klitschko go head-to-head
Joshua has had 18 bouts previously and won all, while Klitschko in his previous mammoth 68 fights, won 64 and lost 4.
