The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have just signed a deal with energy company Aiteo group.
The deal is worth around US$9.2m (about N2.8bn) over the next five years and will commence on May 1, 2017.
NFF president Amaju Pinnick was accompanied with the 1st vice president Seyi Akinwunmi to Eko Hotels where they signed a corporate agreement with the energy company.
"This will make it easier for us to plan adequately for our national teams," the NFF president said.

"It is important to note that this will also take care of the national team coaches' salaries."
"There will be no owing of coaches for the next five years," he added.

"We are happy to have a sponsor come in at this crucial time and this is a big boost for our football," he condluded.
Aiteo group confirmed the deal in a tweet.
Recall that NAIJ.com reported that the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is being owe 3months salary and were hoping for potential sponsors to pay up his outstanding salaries.
