Ronaldo's double gives Real Madrid victory over Bayern Munich

Real Madrid came from behind to defeat Bayern Munich 2 - 1 in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored both goals for the Spanish side to take his tally to European competitions to 100, the most by any player in the competition and the first to reach that tally.

Bayern bossed the early exchanges despite missing Robert Lewandowski through injury and should have gone ahead as early as the 10 minute but Muller fluffed his lines.

Bayern opened the scoring through Arturo Vidal who headed a corner kick past Keylor Navas.

Bayern's task became heavier when Javi Martinez was sent off in the 67th minute and Real capitalized through Ronaldo who gave the Spanish side the lead.
