Spanish giants Real Madrid on Wednesday night, April 26, 2017 defeated Deportivo La Coruna 6-2 in an explosive game played at the Estadio Municipal de Riazor.

Real responded to their home loss to Barcelona in the El Clasico duel by winning this tie to redeem themselves.

Portuguese international Criatiano Ronaldo was not part of the squad that traveled for the match as Alvaro Morata opened scoring for the visitors in the 1st minute.

Colombian star James Rodriguez netted the second goal for Real Madrid in the 14th minutes, but the hosts pulled one back through Florin Andone in the 35th minute.

Lucas Vazquez, James Rodriguez, Isco and Casemiro scored to give Real Madrid a deserved 6-2 victory and keep the pressure on Barcelona who had earlier annihilated Osasuna.
