The Oba of Lagos HRH Rilwan Aremu Akiolu shunned the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi at a public function recently and it has sparked a heated debate on social media.

The 27 seconds video which has gone viral shows the Ooni arriving at the venue of the event. He greeted one of the Obi of Onitsha who was seated already.
After which, he moved to greet the Oba of Lagos. As he stretched his hand towards Oba Akiolu, the Oba dismissed him with a wave of hand and looked away.
The incident has sparked reactions on Twitter with many Nigerians condemning the Oba of Lagos. Some are saying it was disrespectful of the Oba of Lagos as the Ooni of Ife is superior to him traditionally.
