Controversial gay pastor has come out to warn all LGBTs in Nigeria to beware of their friends

Controversial gay pastor based in the United States (US), Jide Rebirth Macaulay has come out to warn all his colleagues in Nigeria to beware of everyone close to them so they won’t get caught.

Reports gathered that this call to action was made following the arrest of about 50 gay members who were arrested and arraigned at a Magistrate Court in Zaria, for attending a gay wedding. However, only guests were arrested as the couples are on the run.

The wedding was said to have taken place on Saturday, April 15 with the couple being Faruk and Sanusi. The arrested persons who graced the occasion are being charged with unlawful assembly, conspiracy which contravened the laws on ground.

Jide Macaulay took to his to his Facebook handle on Thursday, April 20, saying: “Nigeria is corrupt PERIOD, your gay friends and family will sell you!!!. This is truly outrageous. Nigeria law enforcement and the government should focus on fighting terrorism, poverty, injustice and not gay. There are news of mass gay arrests by the police and many blackmailing activities via gay social media. Please BE WARNED. We also need to warn the LGBTQ people!! All these ‘hook up’ is getting you into trouble and danger. Even some gays have become set up agents in that lawless country in Nigeria.”
