Timi Dakolo is a passionate guy! Beyond the thrills of his sound and vibes, the Great Nation proponent is a diehard fan of English Premiership side Arsenal FC. But he is not finding the state of his beloved club funny at the moment, hence he has taken his fanship to another level by actually championing the call for the immediate removal of legendary but now underperforming coach, Arsene Wenger.
This morning the singer shared a photo of himself on his IG of his visit to London where he also took out time to visit the club. He captioned it thus: “ARSENE WENGER’S REPLACEMENT IS HERE… ITS TIME TO PUT SOME STEEL AND DISCIPLINE INTO THE TEAM,…I PROMISE SIGNINGS COME NEXT SEASON.. COACH TIMI DAKOLO.”
Hilarious as Timi’s fanaticism with Arsenal may be, many other fans of the club may agree with him that Arsene Wenger’s time at the club is up. But then, touting himself as the new coach? That’s a tall order! But then again, it just goes to show how disappointed the R&B star is with Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal board, by more or less saying any replacement for the legendary coach will be okay at the moment.
No doubt, there’s more to Timi than just music. But, will he be able to survive a season at Arsenal without taking them to relegation?
