The committee on Prerogative on Mercy said the state will not fail to carry out its prerogative on prisoners who are reformed.

Arowolo was part of the seventy four prisoners called by the committee. The committee, set up by the governor to review the application of the inmates, was led by Professor Oyelowo Oyewo.
