There was jubilation in Emure, Ise/Orun and some parts of Ikere local government areas in Ekiti state after Governor Ayo Fayose’s stomach infrastructure train distributed food items.
It was reported that members of the community especially old trooped out to receive the food items and money on Friday, April 14.
According to a statement released, members of the community sang the praise of Governor Fayose for the gesture.

The statement read: “In line with governor Ayodele Fayose's quest to cushion the effect of economic hardship amongst the populace, the Stomach Infrastructure Train anchored by Personal Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on General Administration and Stomach Infrastructure, Sunshine Anifowose today visited Emure, Ise/Orun and some parts of Ikere Local Government Areas.

“The distribution of goodies(rice, semo and money) at Emure Ekiti was fun as residents trooped out to receive the team. The beneficiaries who jumped for joy praised governor Fayose to high heavens for the much he's been able to do in the Local Government.

"Residents who spoke with newsmen said their blessings via the PDP came in three folds as the Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Sen.(Mrs) Abiodun Olujimi and Member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency 2, Hon. Akin Awodumila had earlier come to flag off some developmental projects in Emure.
