On his way back from work, two weeks ago, in early April 2017, a young man, Ayodeji Balogun was involved in a ghastly accident involving a commercial motorcycle, popularly known as Okada in Nigeria.
The incident left him badly injured and now he has reached out to kind Nigerians for help as he needs corrective dental surgery.
Below is the Facebook post made for him by his friend:
"Two weeks ago, Deji had a pedestrian bike accident (he was walking on the roadside with a friend after work when a bikeman hit him).
"It's been two weeks of horror and so much pain. There are times he wakes up in the night groaning, or early in the morning, holding his jaw. We give him plenty on tramadol just so the pain becomes bearable.
Ayodeji is in pain and in need of urgent financial assistance
"Three lip stitches, lots of meds, scan, xrays, and talking to doctors, and we're almost out of this but we have a major dental surgery left to do.
"In the accident, he lost 5 front teeth and we need to replace them. We need to hurry; his gum has begun to swell.
"So, this is me asking for help from all my Facebook friends. Please, help us raise the N750,000 we need for the artificial implant; help us raise this money. Every Naira contributed will be greatly appreciated.
"Kindly pay to;

On April 10, 2017 NAIJ.com posted a story of a man, a depressed Nigerian, Ojelade Imole who called on Nigerians, especially the influential men and women to come to his aid to prevent him from killing himself.
Imole, who resides in Akoka area of Lagos state, said that life has not been fair to him in a message to NAIJ.com. He said he was so depressed that he was considering killing himself.
A good Nigerian responded and provided help to him, we do hope the same will happen in Deji's case.
Why though would someone try to kill himself? Watch a NAIJ.com video on the streets of Lagos speaking on the matter:
