“The ban on signing academy players will be suspended for three years from 30 June 2018 onwards,” the statement read.
The Etihad side was found culpable of signing a player who is still a school boy and just 11 years old.
The youngster joined City from Everton, but the club was said to have broken the rules. Manchester City also allegedly signed another 15-year-old midfielder from Wolverhampton Wanderers into their academy.
Also, reports say that the Premier League also investigated their recruitment of 16-year-old goalkeeper Louie Moulden from Liverpool but that move has been cleared to proceed.
