BREAKING: 6 students kidnapped in Lagos secondary school


Six students have been allegedly kidnapped in Lagos school

Students and teachers of the school were also kidnapped last year

Another report says only 4 students were kidnapped after the criminals wrote of their coming to the school authorities

NAIJ.com learnt that six students of Igbonla Model college in Epe local government area of Lagos state have been abducted.

The suspected kidnappers were said to have attempted to gain entrance into the school premises through the rear-fence on Wednesday but were repelled by policemen on guard who radioed for reinforcement.

Yesterday the Lagos State Police Command was said to have foiled a kidnap attempt at the Igbonla Model college.

Vanguard however reports that security source disclosed that six school students have been abducted.


Meanwhile, Sahara Reporters claimed only four boys were kidnapped after the criminals had written to the school.

"Kidnappers raid Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, Epe. Seize four boys a week after writing to the school to inform of their visit," in a tweet said.


NAIJ.com reports last year that gunmen kidnapped students and teachers of the Government Model College, Igbonla Epe, on Thursday, October 6.
