Man gives thanks to God after surviving 32 days of captivity
The retired worker was kidnapped while he was worshiping in his hometown
He survived the tragic ordeal with his right hand chopped off by the kidnappers
A retired Mobil staff identified as Idongesit Demas Udom who was recently kidnapped has given thanks to God for surviving the horrific ordeal.
It was gathered that the man’s right hand was chopped off in anger after the kidnappers received five million naira ransom money instead of the seventy million they demanded for.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that Udom was kidnapped in his hometown in Nneke, Akwa Ibom, on Sunday, April 9, while he was praying in church.

While giving thanks to God on Facebook, the man who is also a school proprietor expressed his thanks to those who prayed for him during his 32 days of captivity.
Udom thanked God for giving him the grace to survive the horrific ordeal he went through even after his hand was chopped off by the kidnappers.
He also thanked people who provided funds for the hospital bills that nursed him back to life.
