It has been revealed that more than a dozen people were injured when lightning struck a music festival.
According to Metro UK, two people are in a serious condition with burns after they were hit sheltering in a tent at the Vieux Canal festival in the north east of France.
Lightning struck in several places at the festival, leaving 15 people in need of treatment including children.
Those seriously injured were a woman in her sixties and a 44-year-old man, the BBC reported.
Those hurt are believed to have taken shelter in a tent close to a large tree before it was hit yesterday.
They were given first aid at the festival and then taken to hospital where they were treated for burns and two children for shock.
Concerts at the festival were cancelled following the strike.
