Barca considering Lemar swoop

Barca are keen on securing the services of the Reds’ Brazil international following the shock €222m exit of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain in August.

However, Liverpool are refusing to allow their star striker to depart Anfield, having rejected an improved €150m bid from Barcelona for Coutinho.

And with Barca having seen Monaco accepted a £92m from Arsenal for Lemar, only for the player to turn down a move to north London, the Spanish giants are believed to now be considering a swoop for the France international.

However, any deal would have to be revisited in January, with the European summer transfer period having come to an end at midnight on Thursday.
