A man was caught on camera pretending to have a deformed arm while begging in a train in China on Tuesday, May 30.

CCTV footage shared online shows the unidentified man dramatically demonstrating his "deformity" and using it to gain sympathy from commuters.

However, more pictures taken later show him apparently walking just fine and even counting his money with both hands intact.

The man's antics emerged after local policemen reviewed CCTV footage at the subway station. They are now on the lookout for him to arrest him

A police spokesperson said the man initially used to walk on his knees, "but when the train stops at a station, he will just exit the train like other passengers."
